Monday: Five Mismatches

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - There were five games played today and all of them were mismatches. Winning were HF-L, Churchville-Chili, Thomas, Pal-Mac and Newark-Midlakes.

Wayne at Pal-MacWAYNE-1 at PAL-MAC-16 -  Pal-Mac defeated Wayne, 16-1.  Teagan Hudak (2g/5a), Molly Seither (2g/4a), and Anna Priebe (3g) led the attack for the Red Raiders.  Reagan Diehl, Jenna Santelli, and Taryn Goodness were also multiple goal scorers.  Mimi Ugalde had four saves for the Eagles.    [ BOX SCORE

THOMAS-16 at EASTRIDGE-3 - Thomas (2-1) opened a 12-1 halftime lead en route to a 16-3 win over the Lancers from Eastridge.  Tenth-grader Ada Krupa scored all three goals for the Lancers and recorded nine draw controls.  Melody Gaudio had 13 saves in a losing effort.  Wayne at Pal-MacThere were no statistics reported from Thomas at post time. The Titans resume play when they host Canandaigua on Wednesday.  The Lancers look for their first victory of the season when they visit HF-L on Wednesday.    [ BOX SCORE

SCHROEDER-8 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-18 - HF-L evened its record at 2-2 with an 18-8 victory over Schroeder.   There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  Both teams resume play Wednesday, when the Cougars host Eastridge and the Warriors host Brighton.     [ BOX SCORE

Wayne at Pal-MacGATES CHILI-3 at NEWARK-MIDLAKES-14 - Newark-Midlakes took its first game of the season, defeating Gates Chili, 14-3. There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  The Reds hope to make it two wins in a row when they play Mynderse-Romulus on Wednesday. The Spartans look to bounce back Thursday when they host Brockport.    [ BOX SCORE

GANANDA-MARION-3 at CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-16 - Churchville-Chili picked up its first win of the season, defeating Gananda-Marion by a score of 16-3.  Campbell Hewlett and Amelia Breton each scored four goals for the Saints, while Shavonne Callahan and Shayla Geary chipped in two goals apiece.  Lexi Finnegan had a strong all-around game for the Saints, securing four draw controls, picking up two ground balls, and causing two turnovers, along with a goal and two assists.  There were no statistics reported from Gananda-Marion at post time.  Churchville-Chili travels to Brockport Wednesday to play the Blue Devils.  The Blue Panthers host Bishop Kearney on Thursday.    [ BOX SCORE
