Tuesday: Four Mismatches Today
DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Winners in mismatches today were Canandaigua, Pal-Mac, Eastridge, and Aquinas. Eastridge was the closest with an 8-3 win over visiting Gates Chili.
SPENCERPORT-7 at CANANDAIGUA-16 - Senior night was successful for Canandaigua as they defeated Spencerport 16-9 at Braves field. Scoring was well-balanced for the Braves with nine different players finding their way into the scorebook. Senior Liv Schorr (6g-1a) led the way with a seven point night, while Hanna Davis (3g-1a), and Lola Schorr (2g-2a) each also contributed four points. Spencerport dominated the draw circle behind junior, Molly Guzik (3g-1a), who also led Spencerport in scoring with four points, however Canandaigua was still able to win the game with efficient offense, sturdy defense and a nose for winning ground balls. LIVONIA-AVON-5 at PAL-MAC-16 - Pal-Mac remained undefeated tonight, hosting Livonia-Avon and sending them home with a 16-5 defeat. Jenna Santelli (5g-2a) had the most productive evening on the offensive end for Pal-Mac, while Teagan Hudak (2g-4a) acted as the main distributor. Freshman Midfielder Sidney Clickner (2g) was the lone multi-point scorer for Livonia-Avon, who falls to 3-4. Both teams next game will be against Geneva, with Pal-Mac hosting the Panthers tomorrow, while Livonia-Avon will visit Geneva on 4/28. [ BOX SCORE]
EASTRIDGE-8 at GATES CHILI-3 - Eastridge won their first game of the year tonight with an 8-3 victory over host, Gates-Chili. Goalie, Melody Gaudio shined, making ten saves, while allowing only three goals. Ada Krupa (3g) was Eastridge’s most productive player in the field, not only scoring a hat trick, but also winning 5 draw controls and picking up a Ground Ball. No Book was submitted for Gates-Chili at time of post. They will look to secure their first win of the season on 5/1 against Greece Storm, while Eastridge travels to Gananda on 4/27. [ BOX SCORE]
BISHOP KEARNEY-6 at AQUINAS-19 - Aquinas improved their record to 6-2 with another offensive explosion, beating Bishop Kearney 19-6. Aquinas scored seventeen goals in the first half alone, however slowed the pace in the second half. Aquinas had eleven different goal scorers with Savannah Hinchcliffe (4g) and her sister Sienna (3g-1a) being the most prolific. Ryan Springer (2g-2a) and Gianna Leonardi (2g-2a) also posted 4-point nights for the Lil’ Irish. Carissa Schneider helped keep possession in Aquinas’ favor winning 7 Draw Controls, causing 2 turnovers and scooping a ground ball. No book was submitted to Bishop Kearney.
