Wednesday: Pittsford Over Fairport, Brighton Over Penfield

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Among the dozen games played today, only a few were close. Pittsford beat Fairport 8-6, Brighton beat Penfield 14-12 and Mercy beat Penn Yan 13-10.

FAIRPORT-6 at PITTSFORD-8 - A four-goal surge by the Panthers in the second half, gave them the win at home. Scoring for Fairport (11-2) were Lily Kondas (2g-1a), Ava Peers (1g-1a), Makayla Keys (2g), and Madison Van Gorder (1g).  There was no report from Pittsford (9-5) at post-time. [ BOX SCORE

VICTOR-17 at HILTON-5 - Scoring for Hilton (3-10) were Sydney Heise (2g), Charley Barlette (1g), Elena Graziano (1a), Paige Bennett (1a), Sophia Gizzi (1g), and Leah Kunisch (1g). CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-1 at THOMAS-17 - Thirteen different girls scored for Thomas including Olivia Bottoni with 2 goals and 2 assists. Kolbi Spencer, Sadie Eisenhart, Olivia Ritchie and Addie Schaeffer each had 3 points. JJ Bay scored her first Varsity goal.     [ BOX SCORE

SPENCERPORT-6 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-11 - Six different players made the book for HFL (9-4 including Clare Ruff (3g), Camryn Trybuskiewicz (3a), Marlee Green (2g), Paige Kidd (2g), and Katie Adams (1g). In the goal for Honeoye Falls-Lima was junior Lily Brady with 10s/6ga = 63% (50 mins).

Scoring for Spencerport (7-5) were Molly Guzik (2g-2a), Alyssa Nichols (2g), Isabella Buono (1g), and Raquel Circhirillo (1g).    [ BOX SCORE

RUSH-HENRIETTA-17 at SCHROEDER-2 - Seven different players scored goals for Rush-Henrietta including Lena Cox (4g-1a) reached her 100th goal with her four goals (now 100g). Others scoring for Rush-Henrietta (13-1) included Danielle Garrett (4g-2a), and Avery Roberts (1g-4a). PENN YAN-10 at MERCY-13 - Mercy scored seven goals in the first half which proved to be the difference. Sophomore midfielder Mia Lusardi reached her 50th goal with her two goals (now 50g). Others scoring for Mercy (7-5) were Mia Lusardi (2g-4a), Madeleine Fitzgerald (4g-1a), and Lydia Malvaso (1g-2a).

Leading the scoring for Penn Yan (11-3) were Corinne Barden (3g-1a), Taylor Mullins (1a), Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger (1g), Gianna Voigt (1g), and Bailey Cooper (5g). Junior midfielder Taylor Mullins reached her 100th draw controls with her nine wins (now 107wins).     [ BOX SCORE

GENEVA-14 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-3 - Leading the scoring for Geneva (6-7) were Allie Good (3g-5a), Isabella Bonventre (3g), Kaitlyn Wright (2g-1a), and Kelly Bucklin (2g). In the goal for Geneva was Sophia Cosentino with 5s/3ga = 63% (50 mins).

Senior attacker Maeve Brennan (3g-2a) reached her 50th assist. Others scoring for Irondequoit (8-7) were Evin Terzioglu (2g-3a), and Emma McGuigan (1g-2a). In the goal for Irondequoit was sophomore Emma Francis with 1s/0ga = 100% (50 mins).

AQUINAS-17 at BISHOP KEARNEY-2 - Seven different players scored goals for Aquinas (11-3) including Sienna Hinchcliffe (3g-4a), Ryan Springer (3g-4a), Carissa Schneider (4g-2a), and Savannah Hinchcliffe (3g-1a).  There was no report from Bishop Kearney (1-7) at post-time.    [ BOX SCORE

WATERLOO-MARCUS WHITMAN-17 at GANANDA-MARION-3 - Eight different players scored goals for Waterloo-Marcus Whitman including Kamryn Bennett who scored her first Varsity goal.
