Saturday: Midlakes and Greece Win Today

DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were five games played today and among the winners were Greece with a 12-9 win over the Saints and the Reds with a 11-7 win over the Lakers.

CANANDAIGUA-6 at VICTOR-13 - In a possible preview of the class B final in section V, the Blue Devils came out on top.  It was Victor's sixth win in a row.  There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  Both teams close out the regular season on the road Wednesday---Victor (11-4) with a non-league match against Skaneateles (III), and Canandaigua (12-3) with a make-up contest against Fairport.    [ BOX SCORE

QUEENSBURY-5 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-16 - In defeating their section II opponents, the Royal Comets were led by Kate DeWald, who tallied five goals, one assist, and seven draw controls, and Angelia Oechsle, who recorded nine saves.  It was the final game of the regular season for the Royal Comets, who finished their season with five consecutive wins and, at 15-1, are poised to enter the playoffs as the number one seed in class A.    [ BOX SCORE

ITHACA-1 at PITTSFORD-15 - The Panthers lifted their record to 10-5 with a strong performance against visiting Ithaca (IV).   There were no statistics reported from Pittsford at post time. The Panthers' final scheduled game is against HF-L on Wednesday.    [ BOX SCORE

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-9 at GREECE STORM-12 - Greece improved to 8-3 on the season, behind seven goals for Alison Dioguardi and four goals from Mara Misiurewicz.  Ava Torrence stopped eight shots.  There were no statistics reported from Churchville-Chili (4-11) at post time.  Greece travels to Spencerport on Monday to take on the Rangers.  In their regular season finale on Monday, the Saints host Newark-Midlakes.    [ BOX SCORE

NEWARK-MIDLAKES-11 at LIVONIA-AVON-7 - The Reds defeated the Bulldogs for the second time this season.  There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.  Newark-Midlakes (6-8) visits Churchville-Chili on Monday.  Also on Monday, Livonia-Avon (6-9) travels to Gananda-Marion for its final regular season game.    [ BOX SCORE
