Tuesday: Four Games

DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - There were four games played today. Winners were Wayne, Mynderse-Romulus, Irondequoit, and Aquinas.

GATES CHILI-4 at WAYNE-13 - Wayne won at home 13-4 over Gates-Chili, improving to 5-10, while dropping Gates to 1-10.  The Eagles were led by a 5-point performance from Isabella Veltre (2g-3a), 4 goals by Marley Hewitt, and 3 more from Emily Pratt.  No Book was submitted for Gates-Chili.      [ BOX SCORE

EASTRIDGE-10 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-17 - Mynderse-Romulus found a good offensive flow to cruise past Eastridge 17-10. The Blue Devils did the majority of the damage in the first half opening up a 12-5 lead early on.  Chelsea Korzeniewski scored 3 goals and dished out 6 assists, Kelly Kohberger (5g-1a) scored 6 points, and Haley Bosch (4g-1a) added 5 more in victory.  For Eastridge, Bella Denaro (6) led the way with an impressive 6 goals.     [ BOX SCORE

MERCY-8 at IRONDEQUOIT-13 - In a Class B battle with late season sectional seeding implications, Irondequoit defended their home turf against the Mercy Monarchs to finish off their regular season at 9-7.  The loss drops Mercy to 7-6 with games against Brighton and Schroeder remaining.  Maeve Brennan (5g) starred for the Eagles with a 5 goal night, while Mia Quagrello (3g) scored a Hat Trick for Mercy.   [ BOX SCORE

AQUINAS-17 at HILTON-4 - Aquinas traveled to Hilton handed the Cadets 17-4 loss, completing Hilton’s Regular season at 4-12, while moving Aquinas to 12-3, with their final game against Clarence scheduled for 5/18.  For Aquinas, Sienna Hinchcliffe (5g-5a) had 10 points, sister Savannah (5g-2a) compiled 7, And Giana Leonardi (1g-5a) worked mainly as a distributor.  Carissa Schneider also scored 5 goals for Aquinas.  No Book was submitted for Hilton at the time of this post.   [ BOX SCORE
