Thursday: Last Games of the Regular Season

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - On the last day of the regular season, there were six games and several games were needed to finish the Sectional Tournaments seeding. The tournament brackets will be available on Friday.

WAYNE-8 at BROCKPORT-3 - The Eagles never trailed in this battle of class C rivals.  Wayne finished the season at 6-10, while Brockport fell to 5-11. There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.    [ BOX SCORE

AUBURN-0 at PENFIELD-11 - The Patriots concluded their regular season with a decisive win over their section III opponents.  Eighth-grader Karis Hand (6s) and senior Sarah Herko combined on the shutout for Penfield (8-8).  Leading the scoring for the Patriots was ninth-grader Peyton Rothfuss (4g/1a), who recorded the 100th point of her varsity career.    [ BOX SCORE

GATES CHILI-2 at EASTRIDGE-10 - Eastridge (4-12) was led by Ada Krupa (5g), Bella Denaro (4g/1a), and Melody Gaudio (9s).  Ada Krupa also recorded nine draw controls, including the 300th of her varsity career.  Senior Skylar Stidd scored her first varsity goal for the Lancers.  There were no statistics reported from Gates Chili (1-11) at post time.    [ BOX SCORE

GREECE STORM-11 at WATERLOO-MARCUS WHITMAN-16 - For the victorious Tigers, senior midfielder Natalie Disanto led the scoring with five goals, including her 50th of the season, along with three assists.  Lainie Forde also scored five goals for Waterloo-Marcus Whitman (10-5), and Maci Mueller contributed four goals and three assists.  For Greece (9-5), Alison Dioguardi, Emma Dioguardi, and Mara Misiurewicz tallied three goals apiece, and Erica Savage had a goal and four assists.    [ BOX SCORE

AQUINAS-10 at CLARENCE-11 - Aquinas (12-4) dropped its non-league rematch at Clarence (VI), after having defeated the Red Devils at home last month   For the Little Irish, goaltender Catriona Hoelperl stopped 13 shots, Carissa Schneider scored six goals, and Sienna Hinchcliffe secured eight draw controls, including the 500th of her varsity career.    [ BOX SCORE

MERCY-14 at SCHROEDER-8 - The Monarchs, who broke open a close game with eight second-half goals, improved to 8-7 with the win.  The Warriors finished the regular season with a record of 4-12.   There were no statistics reported from either team at post time.    [ BOX SCORE
