DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - There were five games played today and most were against out-of-section teams. Section V won three.

NEWARK-MIDLAKES-15 at NORTH TONAWANDA-3 -  In a non-league matchup at North Tonawanda, the Screaming Eagles came away with a decisive win.  There were no statistics reported from Newark-Midlakes at post time.  On Monday, the Screaming Eagles look to make it three wins in a row to start the season when they take on Livonia-Avon.       [ BOX SCORE

LIVONIA-AVON-12 at CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-8 -  The Lakers advanced their record to 2-0 with the win today. Scoring for Livonia-Avon were Senior midfielder Megan Carr (3g-1a), Sophomore midfielder Maddie Whitford (4g-1a), Sophomore midfielder Sidney Clickner (2g-1a), and Sophomore attacker Lily Rowe (3g-2a).  There was no report from Churchville-Chili at post-time.        [ BOX SCORE

FRONTIER-5 at AQUINAS-7 -  For the Little Irish, it was their first victory of the season and the first win for new coach Aarika Kaester.  Marilena Diaz led the scoring for Aquinas with four goals and one assist.  Savannah Hinchcliffe contributed two goals and secured a game-high eight draw controls. Natalie Campbell tallied her first varsity goal for Aquinas.  The Little Irish host Waterloo on Monday.        [ BOX SCORE
