Another Big Game Night

Newark at WayneTwelve more games in Section Five with multiple close contests.  Rush-Henrietta defeated Churchville-Chili 9-8, Fairport defeated Canandaigua 8-6 and Irondequoit defeated Penfield in overtime 5-4. Additionally, Penn Yan defeated Mynderse 11-8, Brockport over Gates Chili 17-6, Pittsford over HFL 14-4, Pal-Mac over Jordan Elbridge 17-12, Spencerport over Ath/Ody 19-3, Wayne over Newark 12-4.

Rush Henrietta trailed by two goals (7-5) with 9:40 remaining in the second half, before they scored four unanswered goals to lead 9-7 with 1:42 left.  Freshman Maddy George led with 3g.  Additional stats are HERE.

The turning point in Fairport's 8-6 win over Canandaigua came in the second half when the Red Raiders scored four unanswered goals to take a tie game into a 8-4 lead.  Brittney Pollack (3g-1a) led for Fairport and Emily Reals (3g-1a) led for Canandaigua.  Additional stats are HERE.

Annie Brennan scored her second goal of the night to give Irondequoit the 5-4 win over Penfield in first sudden victory overtime period.  This is the second overtime loss of the season for the Patriots. Additional stats will be updated HERE.

Wayne scored the first six goals to take the lead and never looked back in their 12-4 win over Newark.  Attackman Hannah Zenelovic led with 3g-2a. Additional stats are HERE

Brockport had five scorers make their scorebook.  Jasmyn Jessmer (3g-5a) and Tori Lammes (4g-3a) led for the Blue Devils.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mynderse was led by two juniors, Sadie Mapstone and Sarah Shaffer each added 3g-1a for the Blue Devils.  Additional stats are HERE.

Brittany Chamberlain finished with 1g and 6 draw controls for the Cougars in their loss to Pittsford.  Abbey Leon (5g-1a) led for the Panthers. Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac won both quarters in their out of section victory against Jordan Elbridge. Anna Leva (2g-4a) and Andra Savage (4g-1a) led in scoring.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport led 13-1 at halftime in their victory.  Freshman midfielder Erin Coykendall (3g-8a) led in scoring for the Rangers.  Coykendall scored her 200th Varsity point tonight.  Additional stats are HERE.

Currently only the score is known for Victor over Schroeder 15-8.  Additional stats will be updated HERE.

Brighton defeated Thomas 5-3.  No additional information is known.  Eastridge vs. Greece Oly/Arc does not have a score reported yet.
