Mexico (section III) defeated Marcus Whitman 9-4 in a non-league game on Friday evening. The match, played at Mexico's home field, marked the first meeting between the teams.

For Marcus Whitman, Helen Snyder led the way with two goals, while her sister Sophia Snyder contributed a goal and an assist. Raegan Weissinger added a goal to round out the Wildcats' scoring. In goal, eighth-grader Sydney Shaw made 11 saves on 20 shots.
