Wayne secured a decisive 17-6 victory against Brockport on Monday evening. Senior Isabella Veltre led Wayne`s offense with four goals and two assists. Anabelle Ruffell also had four goals. Additional contributions came from Samantha Branner and Lauren Twist, who scored three times apiece, and from Maddie Schreiber and Aidan Kovach, each of whom scored her first varsity goal. Senior Madelyn Hillman secured 14 draw controls, including the 100th of her varsity career.

Kendall Akers scored three goals to lead the Blue Devils. Bella Bruno added two goals, and Molly McJury chipped in a goal and two assists.

For the Eagles, the win improves their record to 2-0, and evens the series history between the teams at five wins apiece since 2019. Brockport falls to 1-2. Both teams are at home on Wednesday, with Wayne hosting Gananda-Marion and Brockport taking on Marcus Whitman.
