Colonie Central Edges Schroeder
In a hard-fought defensive struggle on Saturday, Colonie Central (Section II) secured a narrow 4-3 victory against Schroeder. Although the Warriors scored late in the fourth quarter to cut their deficit to one, they were unable to pull even and force the game into overtime.
For Schroeder, Molly Meyer led the offense with two goals, while Olivia Schrage added one. Goalie Maura Ugine made four saves.
The Warriors, who remain winless on the season, will look to rebound in their upcoming match against Rush-Henrietta on April 21. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
