Waterloo Triumphs with Strong Team Effort
Waterloo secured a convincing 19-2 victory over Gananda-Marion in a Finger Lakes game at Richard Mann Elementary. It was Waterloo's fourth consecutive win against Gananda-Marion since 2022. Kinsley Bree (6g/2a) and Maci Mueller (3g/7a) led the attack for the Tigers. Eighth-grader Ava Ruiz (3g), sophomore Julianna Pehrson (2g), and senior Kamryn Bennett (1g) each scored her first varsity goal.
For Gananda-Marion, Malina Alejandro and Ella Michaels accounted for all of the scoring. Malina Alejandro also recorded seven draw controls and two ground balls.
Waterloo (4-1) looks ahead to a home matchup Friday against Mynderse-Romulus, while Gananda-Marion (0-6) prepares to host Livonia-Avon-Geneseo on Monday.
