Wayne Falls to Chittenango
In an afternoon contest at Wayne, Chittenango (section III) secured a 13-7 victory against the host team. Leading the attack for Chittenango were Anna Lazzaro (5g/2a) Reese Ferstler (4g/1a), and Gracie Hayes-Brazell (1g/3a). Persephone Rohrer added a goal and two assists. Goalkeeper Susanna Horning posted solid numbers with 12 saves and a save percentage of 63%. The win improves Chittenango’s record to 2-5, marking its second consecutive win against Wayne after a previous 10-8 victory in 2024.
Wayne, now 5-3 on the season, received a standout performance from Isabella Veltre, who had three goals and two assists. Samantha Branner contributed two goals, while Julia DiLeo and Lauren Twist each added one. Freshman goalkeeper Dalilah Rommevaux showed resilience in goal, finishing with 16 saves.
