Fairport Moves Past Schroeder
Fairport took a 7-1 first-quarter lead and coasted to a 14-8 victory over Schroder in a Monroe County matchup on Monday. For the Red Raiders, it was their seventh straight win over the Warriors.
Lily Kondas (2g/2a) scored her 100th career goal for Fairport (6-5), adding to a strong offensive effort led by Camryn DuBose, who scored five goals. Ella Peers contributed with two goals and three assists, while Brenna Goss added one goal and two assists. Marisa Test made six saves in 36 minutes for a 55% save rate.
Lindsay Ruffalo led Schroeder’s attack with three goals, followed by Brooke Guelli and Lola Wambach, who each had two goals and one assist. Maura Ugine recorded seven saves in 48 minutes of play.
