Rush-Henrietta Takes Pittsford

Rush-Henrietta (7-3) took down Pittsford (7-3) in a Monroe County lacrosse showdown, winning 14-11 on Monday night. With the game tied at six at the half, the Royal Comets reeled off seven unanswered third-quarter goals to take control of the match. Pittsford retains a slight edge in the all-time series between the two rivals, with 16 wins to Rush-Henrietta’s 15.

Danielle Garrett led Rush-Henrietta with five goals, and Briea Schlindwein added four more. Riley Brown (1g/4a), Taylee Bernarduci (1g/3a), and Kate DeWald (2g/3a) were also key contributors for the Royal Comets. Taylor Potwin had eight saves to help secure the win. Pittsford did not submit a statistical report by post-time.
