Fairport and Spencerport faced off in a Monroe County matchup on Wednesday night, with Fairport coming away with an 18-7 victory. After an evenly-matched first quarter, the Red Raiders gradually pulled away to secure the win.

Ella Peers, Camryn DuBose, Lily Kondas, and Ellie Miller each had four goals to lead the Red Raiders. Ella Peers also recorded 10 draw controls. Ninth-grader Lucy Sisson scored her first varsity goal. Goalkeeper Marisa Test made six saves in the win.

For the Rangers, Aria Pittman led the attack with four goals and one assist. Brooke Endres (2g) and Raquel Circhirillo (1g) rounded out the scoring.

With the win, Fairport improves to 7-5, while Spencerport falls to 6-4. Both teams return to action on Friday, with Fairport hosting Orchard Park (section VI) and Spencerport facing Rush-Henrietta.     [ Story and BOX SCORE]
