Schroeder Edges Spencerport
Schroeder earned a narrow 6-5 victory over Spencerport in a Monroe County game on Thursday evening. The all-time series between the teams remains equally close, with Schroeder now holding a 10-9 advantage in their head-to-head history.
Leading the scoring for Schroeder (3-10) were Brooke Guelli (2g) and Molly Meyer (2g), whose first goal in the game was the 50th of her varsity career. Lindsay Ruffalo and Olivia Schrage added one goal each, and Lola Wambach had two assists. Maura Ugine had 11 saves in 48 minutes of play, finishing with a 69% save rate.
For Spencerport, Raquel Circhirillo scored two goals. Brooke Endres, Aria Pittman, and Calla Crowley had one goal apiece; the goal for Brooke Endres was the 150th of her varsity career. Ellie Marron made four saves.
