Geneva Takes Match Against Greece Storm
Geneva earned a 16-11 win against Greece Storm in a non-league game at Arcadia. With Greece trailing by only two goals entering the fourth quarter, the Panthers outscored the Storm 5-2 to close out the game.
Meghan Forbes led Geneva (10-3) with seven goals and one assist. Velia DeMaria (4g), Allison Marquart (1g/6a), and Makenna Harris (3g) were also key offensive contributors for the Panthers.
For Greece Storm (6-8), Erica Savage scored seven goals, including the 100th of her varsity career. Haley Duxbury added two goals and two assists. In goal, Ava Torrence made eight saves.
The Panthers now look ahead to a matchup against Marcus Whitman on Monday, while the Storm will face Spencerport the same day. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
