Overtime Drama and Scoring Feats
DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - Fairport edged Canandaigua 6-5 in overtime, with Ellie Miller scoring the game-winner just 40 seconds into extra time. Brighton held off Honeoye Falls-Lima 11-9, despite four goals from Harper Jacob. Elsewhere, offense predominated, as Mynderse-Romulus surged past Newark-Midlakes 20-7, and Livonia-Avon-Geneseo and Aquinas-WOIS lit up the scoreboard in a 21-15 victory for the Lakers. Several career milestones were reached on Friday as well, including the 100th draw control for both Lily Rowe (Livonia-Avon-Geneseo) and Nola Weaver (Canandaigua), and the 100th save for Aviana Nelson (Canandaigua).
