DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Wednesday’s slate featured several thrilling matchups. Geneva secured a nail-biting 16-15 win over Livonia-Avon-Geneseo, thanks to Evelyn Little’s game-winner in the fourth quarter. Mynderse-Romulus edged Wayne 9-8 for its first victory of the season. Rush-Henrietta pulled off a 10-8 comeback win over Irondequoit, with Danielle Garrett sealing the game with a clutch fourth-quarter goal. Elsewhere, Thomas defeated Schroeder 7-4, Penn Yan fell to Ithaca 13-8, and Victor, Pal-Mac, Mercy, Waterloo, Churchville-Chili, Aquinas-WOIS, and Canandaigua.all scored decisive victories.
