The Cougars advance to take on Lake Shore (section VI) in the sub-regionals. In class D, No. 1 Penn Yan showcased its dominance in a commanding 17-5 victory over No. 2 Waterloo, led by Bailey Cooper, who had five goals and an assist, and Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger, who won 17 draw controls. Penn Yan is now set to face Eden (section VI) in the sub-regionals.
