# 701  Victor and Mercy Win Championships
MERCY-10 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-9 - The Cougars took the 4-3 lead at the end of the first quarter and then led 8-5 at the half. The second half belonged to the Monarchs who outscored HFL 4-1 in the third, tying the game at 9-9 after three quarters. Mercy scored the lone goal in the fourth giving them the Championship. Leading the scoring for Mercy (9-9) were sophomore Mia Quagrello (4g), junior Krista Harnischfeger (2g-1a), and sophomore attacker Sydney Cook (2g). Leading the scoring for Honeoye Falls-Lima (9-10) were senior Camryn Trybuskiewicz (1g-4a), sophomore Shaye Angelo (4g), and junior Rylee Bennett (1g-1a). VICTOR-15 at CANANDAIGUA-10 - Canandaigua took a 3-2 lead after the first quarter, but the Blue Devils responded with seven goals in the second quarter and led at the half 9-5. When they outscored the Gray Wolves 5-2 in the third it was too much for Canandaigua despite scoring three goals in the last stanza. Scoring for Canandaigua (16-3) were senior Hanna Davis (3g-1a), sophomore Lola Schorr (3g-1a), senior Caroline Lyttle (2g-1a), sophomore Leah Sheridan (2g-1a), and junior Samantha Lupton (1a).  There was no report from Victor (16-3) at post-time. # 699  Canandaigua and Victor win Close 7-6 Games
WAYNE-3 at MERCY-18 - Twelve different players scored goals for Mercy (8-9) including Lydia Malvaso (2g-3a), Mia Quagrello (2g-2a), and Evelyn McAuliffe (3g). EASTRIDGE/BK-8 at HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-20 -  Eight different players scored goals for Honeoye Falls-Lima (9-9) including sophomore attacker Shaye Angelo (4g-2a), senior attacker Camryn Trybuskiewicz (3g-3a), junior midfielder Rylee Bennett (5g), and sophomore defender Anna DeClerck (2g). Cougar senior goalie Lily Brady recorded 5s/4ga = 56% (36 mins). BRIGHTON-6 at VICTOR-7 -  The closely matched teams tied numerous times, scoring two goals each in the first and second quarters. Victor took a one goal lead after three quarters but Brighton tied it up again in the last stanza. Libby Boland scored her lone goal with fifty-three second left in regulation to send the Blue Devils to the Championship game against Canandaigua on Wednesday. SPENCERPORT-6 at CANANDAIGUA-7 - In the other semifinal Class B game, top seeded Canandaigua edged out Spencerport (#4) by a one goal margin. Scoring for the Rangers were Molly Guzik (2g), Brooke Endres (3g), and Aria Pittman (1g). Guzik ends her scholastic career with 166g-124a in five years on the Varsity. strong>DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were six games played on the last day of the regular season. Penn Yan won a close one with Honeoye Falls-Lima. Other winners were Brighton, Canandaigua, Waterloo, Eastridge/BK and Livonia-Avon.

BRIGHTON-17 at MERCY-9 - Brighton Junior goalie Lauren Russell reached her 200th save with her 7 saves. HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-8 at PENN YAN-10 - The Mustangs extended their winning streak to five wins (13-3) in this close game at Penn Yan. Junior attacker Corinne Barden (Penn Yan) reached her 100th career goal and Junior midfielder Maihue Miranda-Wiltberger reached her 100th career draw controls. Scoring for Penn Yan (13-3) were Bailey Cooper (5g), Madison Pierce (3a), Corinne Barden (2g), and Ruby Berry (1g). # 593  Wednesday: Rush-Henrietta over Victor
strong>DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Rush-Henrietta senior Avery Roberts scored the game-winning goal with one second left on the clock to give the Royals Comets a 10-9 victor at Victor. Mynderse-Romulus saw 14 saves from goalkeeper Maria del Carmen on their way to a 9-6 win over Newark-Midlakes. Penn Yan used a strong second half to pull away from Waterloo/Marcus-Whitman and win 11-8.
