Victor Wins NYS Championship
Victor lost no time, scoring the first three goals including the first one in just thirty-six seconds on their way to their first NYS Championship at Cortland. In the other game, HF-L ended their season with the silver medals as they lost to a very strong Manhasset.
Victor and HF-L Move to Finals
Of the four teams Section V sent to the semifinal rounds at SUNY Cortland Friday, two won and two went home. Rush-Henrietta lost a 7-6 heartbreaker to Baldwinsville and Pal-Mac lost a tough one to Skaneateles. Honeoye Falls-Lima won their game 16-7 and Victor won their game 15-7.
Next Up NYS Semifinals
All four Section V teams won the Western Regionals and now it is time to travel to Cortland for the championship weekend.
All Four Teams Advance To NYS Semifinals
Section V made it a clean sweep over visiting Section VI in the Western Regionals at Pittsford Sutherland. All four teams had double-digit wins and will move on to the two day tournament at Cortland next Friday and Saturday.
Pal-Mac and Victor Win Championships
The Championships for Classes B and D were won tonight as #3 Pal-Mac beat #1 Aquinas 9-8 and top-seeded Victor won their game with #2 Canandaigua 9-5.
HFL and R-H Win Championships
The Championships for Classes A and C were won tonight as HF-L won their tenth straight championship (12th in total), and Rush-Henrietta won their first since 2008.
Thursday - Geneva and HF-L Advance To Finals
There were six games played tonight and all but one was a decisive win. In semifinal games HF-L won their ticket for the finals and Geneva won their spot as well.
Wednesday - All Close Games
There were four games played on the third day of the sectionals and they were really good ones. Aquinas won a 12-11 game from Penn Yan, R-H won a 9-8 game with Penfield, Pittsford won a 10-9 game with Fairport and Pal-Mac won an 8-6 game with Waterloo.
Tuesday - Expected Winners Advance
There were three games played on the second day of the sectionals. In the class B out bracket games Spencerport edged Churchville-Chili 12-10 and Schroeder beat Gates Chili. In a Class C quarter final game Newark-Midlakes advanced.
Monday - First Day of Sectionals
There were seven games played on the first day of the sectionals.
On-Line Ticket ONLY at Semis & Finals
Section V has announced that ticket for the Boys and Girls Sectional lacrosse SEMI FINALS and CHAMPIONSHIPS will be offered ONLY on line. The procedure has been use in the previous fall and winter seasons.
Friday - The Regular Season Ends
There were three games played on the last day of the regular season. The Section V tournaments will start next week.

The Official Sectional Seeding information has been released on GLaxFive and the Section V website.
Thursday - Thomas over Mercy
There were four games played today. Thomas won a 12-11 game with Mercy.
Wednesday - HF-L Wins in Overtime
There were seven games played today. HF-L won their game with Brighton in overtime and Pal-Mac had an 8-2 win against Penn Yan.
Tuesday - CA by One - BK by One
There were two close ones today. Canandaigua beat Skaneateles in a low scoring 3-2 and Bishop Kearney beat Newark-Midlakes 11-10.
Monday - Brighton over R-H 5-4
The closest game of the day was Brighton`s 5-4 win over Rush-Henrietta. Wayne beat the Lakers 10-7 and Mynderse-Romulus was a 12-9 winner over Bishop Kearney.
Saturday - Thomas over Brighton
Thomas beat Brighton, Mercy beat Waterloo and Victor beat B-Ville on Saturday.
Friday - Penfield, Penn Yan and Brockport Win
There were eleven games played on a warm Friday. Fairport won an 11-9 game with HF-L, Penn Yan beat Aquinas 10-9, and Brockport was a 10-8 winner over Wayne.
Thursday - Mercy Over Pal-Mac
There was a single game played in beautiful weather. Mercy took a win from Pal-Mac.
Wednesday - BK over Livonia-Avon
There were thirteen games played on Wednesday. Bishop Kearney won their second game in two days, by one goal. Schroeder won the Webster game by a goal when they beat Thomas 9-8.
Tuesday - Kearney Over Mynderse
There were three games played on Tuesday. Bishop Kearney had a 12-11 win against Mynderse-Romulus and Canandaigua had a 12-9 win against Corning. HF-L also won.
Monday - Rush-Henrietta over Canandaigua
There were fourteen games played on Monday. Most games were mismatches, but R-H had a 13-12 win over CA and Wayne had a 12-10 win over Marcus Whitman. Victor beat Brighton 11-8 and Corning beat Penn Yan 1208.
