Saturday: Gananda-Marion Beats Gates Chili in OT
DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Fairport remained undefeated (6-) with their 14-10 win at Baldwinsville. Victor beat Long Island powerhouse St. Anthony's 10-9 and at Gates Chili, the game went to overtime before the Blue Panthers were able to claim their first win of the season. Other local winners today were Pal-Mac and Aquinas.
Friday: R-H and Mynderse-Romulus Remain Undefeated
DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - The Royal Comets (4-0) needed overtime to squeeze by the Bruins in their overtime win. Other winners were Mynderse-Romulus, Irondequoit, and Spencerport.
Thursday: Bishop Kearney Takes Gananda-Marion by One
DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were four games played today. The close ones include Canandaigua who lost to St. Anthony's 8-6 and Bishop Kearney who won 9-8 against Gananda-Marion. Also winning were Mercy and Brockport.
Wednesday: Rush-Henrietta over Victor
DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Rush-Henrietta senior Avery Roberts scored the game-winning goal with one second left on the clock to give the Royals Comets a 10-9 victor at Victor. Mynderse-Romulus saw 14 saves from goalkeeper Maria del Carmen on their way to a 9-6 win over Newark-Midlakes. Penn Yan used a strong second half to pull away from Waterloo/Marcus-Whitman and win 11-8.
Tuesday: Mynderse-Romulus and Irondequoit WIn
DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - There were only two game played today and Mynderse-Romulus defeated Wayne, and Irondequoit beat Spencerport.
Monday: Five Mismatches
DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - There were five games played today and all of them were mismatches. Winning were HF-L, Churchville-Chili, Thomas, Pal-Mac and Newark-Midlakes.

DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were two out of section games played today. Pittsford won and HF-L lost.
Wednesday: Out Of Section Teams Win by One
DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - Two very close games today, but the Section V teams fell as CNS beat Penfield 9-8 and Stoneridge beat Irondequoit in overtime.
Tuesday: Penfield Over Thomas
DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Penfield had an 8-6 win over Thomas in the closest game of the day. Rush-Henrietta took West Genesee 12-5 and Victor beat Mercy. Pittsford and Canandaigua fell to strong out of Section teams.
Monday: Penn Yan, CA and Wayne Win
DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - It's vacation week and fewer games are being played. Today there were four games, with three of them against out of Section teams. Penn Yan, CA, and Wayne won their games, but Victor lost to CNS in a close one.
Saturday: Three Victories over Non-Section Opponents
DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - In Saturday's action, Section V schools were victorious in all three non-league games played. Winning were Penfield, Spencerport, and Thomas.
Friday: R-H Over Pittsford, CA and FPT win by One
DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - In a re-match of last year's Sectional Title game, Rush-Henrietta beat Pittsford 6-4. Mercy played their second game in two days but it was Canandaigua with the 8-7 win. Irondequoit was a 12-6 winner over HF-L and Fairport was a 10-9 winner over Penfield.
Thursday: Brockport Over Eastridge
DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - In Thursday night action, the visiting team was victorious in all four games.
Wednesday: Games postponed
DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were two games scheduled and both had to be postponed. The game between Webster Thomas and Spencerport was suspended mid-game due to weather in the first half with Spencerport leading, 4-2. The game will be resumed at a date and time to be determined.
Tuesday: Fairport over Irondequoit
DAY IN REVIEW: TUESDAY - Fairport, Brighton and the newly-formed Waterloo-Marcus Whitman team were winners today. There were six teams playing and, sadly, only one turned in a game report.
Monday: Aquinas Wins Season Opener
DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - Aquinas was the winner in the only game played today. The Thomas at Eastridge game was postponed.
Friday: Season opens
DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - The 2023 season opened today at Churchville-Chili where Penfield saw eleven different players scored goals.
Penn Yan Wins Season Opener
Penn Yan won its first game of the season, delivering a convincing 14-5 victory at Mercy. The Mustangs took an early lead and never trailed in the game. There were no statistics reported from Penn Yan at post time.
