Friday Night has Eight Matchups
After three games were cancelled/postponed due to weather, there were still eight games played tonight. The closest match was Fairport over Penfield 10-7. Other games included RH over Gates Chili 23-0, Pal-Mac over Livonia 18-7, South Jefferson over Schroeder 14-8, Pittsford over Spencerport 12-6, Brockport over Hamburg 15-9, Canandaigua over Eastridge 17-0 and Thomas over CC 11-2.
Pal-Mac defeated Livonia 18-7 after leading 12-4 at the half. Andra Savage (4g-3a) and Emma Arnold (3g-4a) lead in scoring. Arnold also led in draw controls with nine and caused turnovers with five. Additional stats are HERE.
South Jefferson scored the first five goals in their 14-8 win over Schroeder. The Warriors fought back to 8-4 at the half, but never got any closer. After a close first half, Pittsford scored five unanswered goals to pull ahead and never look back in their 12-6 win over Spencerport.
