Monday Night Matchups

Seven games were scheduled to be played during a cold start to April.  Spencerport fought back with the last two goals in their 7-6 win over Penfield in the closest matchup of the night.  Gananda defeated Livonia 9-6 and Mynderse-Romulus defeated Churchville-Chili 11-9.  Remaining scored included Hilton over Eastridge 14-5, Greece Storm over Brockport 13-3, Schroeder over Waterloo 14-2 and R-H over HFL 16-4.

Spencerport and Penfield played to a 7-6 win for the Rangers.  The game was never more than one point away with both teams having a shot at the lead.  The Patriots started off with the lead after an opening goal from Elisa Faklaris four minutes into the game.  The Rangers responded with two goals (Oliva Wall and Lily DePalma) to take their first lead.  Overall, the lead changed six times during the contest.  Penfield led 6-5 with 7:49 remaining on the clock.  Erin Coykendall scored with 0:38 remaining to tie the game and with 0:20 remaining to secure the win.  Coykendall (3g), DePalma (2g-1a) and Paige Pohleven (3a) all finished with 3 points.  Additional stats are HERE.

Gananda scored the opening goal and never trailed in their 9-6 win over Livonia.  The Blue Panthers' Peyton Daeffler scored two of the opening three and finished with 3g (leading her team).  Livonia fought back to within one late in the first half, but couldn't get any closer.  Junior Hannah Sanson recorded 6 saves in the goal for Gananda.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mynderse-Romulus scored eight goals in the second half to defeat Churchville-Chili 11-8.  Leading in scoring for Mynderse-Romulus was Sadie Bonetti (4g-2a).  Isabelle Foster recorded nine saves in the goal.  For the Saints, Sophia Podszebka (2g-1a) led in scoring.  Angel Reina and Kayla Wiest led in draw controls with 3 each.  Wiest also led in ground balls (3) and caused turnovers (3).  Mynderse-Romulus junior Caitlyn Korzeniewski recorded five ground balls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Schroeder defeated Waterloo 14-2.  Annie Mulhall led in scoring with 4g-2a for the Warriors.  Victoria Gottorff (3g) and Maddie Ugine (2g-1a) also added to the totals.  Haley Bolton led in draw controls with 7, goalie Jorden Concordia recorded 5 ground balls, 3 caused turnovers and 7 saves.  Mulhall also recorded 3 turnovers.  For Waterloo, Madison DeFrancesco and Calista Folk scored the two goals.  Additional stats are HERE.

Greece Storm scored the first ten goals in their 13-3 win over Brockport.  Leading in scoring for the Storm was Jazmine Darling with 3g-2a.  Alison Dioguardi (1g-1a), Leanza Gibaud (2g), Mackenzie Gibaud (2g), Makenna Misiurewicz (2g) and Kelsey Nugent (2g) each finished with two points.  Darling also led in draw controls with four.  Angelina Soeffing and Alex Martel each recorded 5 groundballs and Martel led with 4 caused turnovers.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton defeated Eastridge 14-5.  When reported, additional stats will be HERE.

Rush-Henrietta defeated HFL 16-4.  The Royal Comets led 7-2 at the half.  .When reported, additional stats will be HERE.
