Five Games on Thursday

There were five scheduled games tonight.  Canandaigua defeated Spencerport 8-6 in the closest match-up.  Hilton defeated Wayne 17-1 and in out of town matchups, Pittsford defeated Vestal 17-6, Mercy defeated Lancaster 17-14 and Rush-Henrietta defeated West Genesee 14-9.

Spencerport took the early 4-2 lead before Canandaigua scored six unanswered goals to go up 8-4.  The Braves held on as the Rangers scored the final two, but could not pull any closer.  Spencerport's scoring was spread out with Camryn Sack leading at 1g-2a.  Half of the Ranger goals were scored off the 8m line.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton defeated Wayne 17-1.  The Cadets had eight players make their offensive scorebook.  Danielle Mojsej led with 4g-2a.  Fiona French (1g-4a), Logan Hibbard (2g-2a) and Amanda Hilderbrandt (2g-2a) added to the totals.  Sydney Carpenter led in draw controls with 11.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford led 10-6 at the half and scored seven more in the second half to defeat Vestal 17-6.  Kacie Mooney (5g-2a) led in scoring for the Panthers.  Ashley Sampone (4g-1a) and Taylor Sampone (3g-2a) both recorded 5 points.  Additional stats are HERE.

Rush-Henrietta defeated West Genesee 14-9.  When reported, additional stats will be HERE.

Mercy defeated Lancaster 17-14 after leading 9-6 at halftime.  Three different players finished with six points: Karli Harnischfeger (5g-1a), Dylan Rawleigh (5g-1a) and Kristyn Johnson (4g-2a).  Harnischfeger (6) and Murphy (7) also led in draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.
