Multiple One Sides Games on Monday Night

Victor at SpencerportThere were 11 games scheduled for tonight in Section Five; we are still pending scores for Eastridge vs. Thomas and Mercy vs. Clarence.  Hopefully, those will be updated soon.  Of the nine remaining games, half were decided by over 10 points.  There were still close match-ups with Geneva defeating Wayne 9-8 and Waterloo defeating Aquinas 8-7.  The remaining scores were Marcus Whitman over Gananda 17-6, Churchville-Chili over Brockport 15-4, Spencerport over Victor 18-5, Mynderse-Romulus over Livonia 18-8, Hilton over Penn Yan 13-6, Brighton over Schroeder 16-7 and Irondequoit over Gates Chili 21-2.

Geneva led at halftime 7-4 and held off the late advances by Wayne to defeat the Eagles 9-8.  Four different Panthers finished with 2 points: Ellie Allperti (2g), Angie Perry (2g), Lauren DeVaney (1g-1a) and Megan Kerr (1g-1a).  For Wayne, Casey Hibbard led with 4g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport's Erin Coykendall scored the opening goal and the Rangers never trailed in their 18-5 win over Victor.  Coykendall finished with a team leading 6g-3a.  Senior Camryn Sack recorded her 100th career goal during the game and Freshman Livia Fedele scored her 1st career Varsity goal tonight.  Additional stats are HERE.

Irondequoit scored 15 goals in the first half on their way to a 21-2 win over Gates Chili.  The Eagles scorebook was spread out with 12 players having at least 1 point.  Erika Sherwood led in the totals with 3g-3a.  Marina Butler added 4g and Bridget Inclema added 4a.  Maira Brennan finished with a team leading 4 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Mynderse-Romulus defeated Livonia 18-8 to remain undefeated at 4-0.  The Blue Devils had nine players make their offensive scorebook with Sadie Bonetti leading with 4g-3a.  Margaux Eller (3g-1a), Caitlyn Korzeniewski (3g-1a) and Shae McConnell (4g) each added another 4 points for Mynderse-Romulus.  Additional stats are HERE.

<imgVictor at SpencerportBrighton started off strong and scored six of the first seven goals in their 18-7 win over Schroeder.  The Barons offense was led by Rae Strazdins with 5g-2a.  Schroeder fought back hard at the end of the first and beginning of the second half to tie the score at 7-7 with 19:02 remaining in the game.  Brighton then scored the next nine goals and held the Warrior scoreless for the remainder of the game.  For Schroeder, Haley Bolton (2g), Victoria Gottorff (1g-1a) and Stefanie Sellitto (2g) led in points.  Annie Mulhall recorded 7 draw controls.  For Brighton, Delaney McManus (4g-1a) and Susan Lafountain (3g-2a) joined Strazdins in the offensive score book.  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo and Aquinas were tied 4-4 at the half before Waterloo defeated the Little Irish 8-7.  For the Indians, Riley Corey led with 3g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Hilton defeated Penn Yan 13-6.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

Churchville-Chili defeated Brockport 15-4.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.

Marcus Whitman defeated Gananda 17-6.  When updated, additional stats will be HERE.
