Tonight had some of the closest games of the season.  With two 1-goal games, a 2-goal game, a 4-goal game, two 5-goal games and one single sided contest.  R-H defeated Thomas 9-8, Victor defeated Irondequoit 9-8, Penfield defeated Schroeder 8-6, HFL defeated Canandaigua 11-7, Brockport defeated Greece Oly/Arc 5-0, Pittsford defeated Fairport 13-7 and Spencerport defeated Hilton 20-2.

Penfield defeated Schroeder 8-6 with the being tied at every goal.  Until Penfield scored the final three goals, neither team had led by more than a single goal.  Emily Goebel scored when it was necessary, adding the final two goals to give the Patriots the win.  Kristen Baumer added 2g-2a for the Patriots.  Schroeder was led by Maria Hristodoulou (3g) and Maddison Bell (1g2-a).  Additional stats and scoring table are HERE.

Fairport scored the opening goal only 0:47 into the contest before Pittsford scored six unanswered goals to go up 6-1 with 10:17 remaining on the clock.  Although the Red Raiders kept the game close, they never got closer than two goals.  Maddie Miller (4g-2a) led in scoring for the Panthers with Maddie Howe (4g) leading for the Red Raiders.  Additional stats and scoring table are HERE.

Although less information is known then in the other close games.  Victor outscored Irondequoit 5-2 in the second half to defeat the Eagles 9-8.  The Eagles were led by Emily Hawryschuk with 4g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Brockport held Greece Oly/Arc scoreless in their 5-0 win.  Jasmyn Jessmer (3g-1a) led in scoring .  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport led 12-2 at halftime over Hilton.  Erin Coykendall (2g-5a) and Camryn Sack (5g) led in scoring for the Rangers.  Francesca Messura and Rachel Ryan scored the Cadets.  Additional stats are HERE.
