The Red Raiders scored in overtime to defeat Spencerport 7-6.  The Rangers were the last undefeated team in Section Five.  Before today's contest the closest match for them was against Churchville-Chili, where they won 9-6.  Fairport has only lost games against Victor and Pittsford; they are currently 8-2.

The game was only two goals apart once, when Fairport took a 6-4 lead late in the second half.  The Rangers scored the final two goals to force overtime with the tying goal coming at 0:49 in regulation by Erin Coykendall.  Coykendall finished with 3g in the contest.  The first four minute overtime period was almost concluded when Brittney Pollack scored the game winning goal for the Red Raiders with 0:07 remaining.

Coykendall also led in draw controls for the Rangers with 4.  Megan Konieczy controlled 3 draws for the Red Raiders.  In the cage for Spencerport, Olivia Schroeder recorded 15 saves (68%) to keep Fairport's offense under control.  Fairport's Isabel Hofford recorded 7 saves (54%).
