DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - Friday's slate of games featured three teams who gained their first victories of the season: Schroeder earned a 18-8 victory over Aquinas-WOIS, Hilton defeated Churchville-Chili 16-9, and Eastridge/BK scored a decisive 17-2 victory over Brockport. In more closely contested games, Penn Yan edged Irondequoit 11-10 in overtime, and Spencerport triumphed over Pal-Mac by a score of 16-13. Elsewhere, Waterloo had a commanding 19-7 win over Mynderse-Romulus, Penfield overcame Canandaigua 12-4, Livonia-Avon-Geneseo bested Newark-Midlakes 16-4, Wayne defeated Marcus Whitman 15-6, and CNS outscored Brighton 17-4. 

SCHROEDER-18 at AQUINAS-WOIS-8 - Schroeder earned its first win of the season, defeating Aquinas-WOIS 18-8 in a non-league game. Lola Wambach led the Warriors with four goals and one assist, while goalie Maura Ugine recorded 10 saves. IRONDEQUOIT-10 at PENN YAN-11 - In an overtime thriller, Penn Yan edged Irondequoit 11-10 in a non-league matchup. Bailey Cooper led Penn Yan with six goals and two assists.     [ Story and BOX SCORE] 

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-7 at WATERLOO-19 - Waterloo claimed a decisive 19-7 win over Mynderse-Romulus in Finger Lakes play, led by Maci Mueller’s seven goals and four assists. LIVONIA-AVON-GENESEO-16 at NEWARK-MIDLAKES-4 - Livonia-Avon-Geneseo claimed a decisive 16-4 win against Newark-Midlakes. Sidney Clickner had five goals for the Lakers and Maddie Whitford added three goals and an assist.
