Penfield Advance to Class A Final

2025-05-28 - Penfield, the top seed in class A, defeated fourth-seeded Greece Storm 19-1 in a class A semifinal game on Wednesday. It was the Patriots' sixth straight victory, and their seventh consecutive win over Greece Storm dating back to 2018.

Peyton Rothfuss and Whitney Reynolds led the Penfield offense, each recording four goals and two assists. Avery Fordham and Emma Alexander added three goals apiece, while Jenna Capozzi and Lexi Corcoran each scored twice. The Patriots also controlled draws effectively, with Peyton Rothfuss winning 17 on the night. Greece Storm did not submit a statistical report..
