Round 1: Canandaigua Outscores Eastridge/BK
No. 9 Canandaigua earned a 21-14 victory over No. 8 Eastridge/BK in a class B first-round game on Saturday. Despite the loss, Eastridge/BK finishes a successful season with a record of 11-4.
Keira Gioseffi had five goals and two assists to lead Canandaigua. Taylor Ennis-Chinn and Nola Weaver each registered four goals and an assist, Samantha Lupton added three goals and two assists, and Lola Schorr had two goals and five assists. Taylor Ennis-Chinn, Leah Sheridan, and Nola Weaver combined to win 16 draw controls. Aviana Nelson made seven saves.
Eastridge/BK was led by Ada Krupa and Neely Hawn, each of whom scored five goals. Maize Wilner (2g/1a), Kayla Gerson (1g/1a), and Callie McCullough (1g) accounted for the remainder of the scoring for Eastridge/BK.
