Geneva Wins in Last 22 Seconds

GENEVA-8 at CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-7 - After the Saints tied the game at seven with just under a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, the Panthers won the ensuing draw and scored the game-winner with 22 seconds left.

Leading the scoring for Geneva (5-3) was Velia DeMaria (4g). Meghan Forbes had two goals and two assists. Alison Marquart handed out three assists. Giovanna Houghton anchored the defensive effort with five ground balls and three caused turnovers; she also scored a goal. Makenna Harris secured seven draw controls in the game.

Shavonne Callahan led Churchville-Chili (5-4) with three goals and two assists. Abigail DeVries added two goals.
