Tuesday After Break Week

There were five more games played today.  The closest matchups saw Penn Yan defeating Mynderse-Romulus 5-4 and Spencerport defeating Fairport 14-13.  Other scores were Newark over Livonia 10-7, Waterloo over Marcus Whitman 14-3 and Aquinas over Gananda 17-7.

Penn Yan was led in scoring by Hannah Keech and Sydney Bloom with 2g each.  Keech also led in draw controls with 5.  Hayley Anderson led in both groundballs (5) and caused turnovers (2) for the Mustangs.  For Mynderse-Romulus, each goal was scored by a different player: Sadie Bonetti, Jordan Howell, Caitlyn Korzeniewski and Shae McConnell.  Additional stats are HERE.

Spencerport led 10-1 before Fairport began their comeback.  The Red Raiders fought hard in the second half, but never tied the game.  They scored the last six goals to pull within one goal with 0:35 left in regulation.  Leading in scoring for Fairport were Sarah Falk (3g-1a) and Morgan Schwab (2g-2a).  Erin Coykendall led in scoring for Spencerport with 1g-6a.  Natalie Choate (5g-1a) and Camryn Sack (4g-2a) also added to the totals.  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo led 7-1 at the half in their 14-3 win over Marcus Whitman.  Leading in scoring was Logan Castiglione with 4g-4a.  Kari Jensen and Sam Barnhart each recorded 3 draw controls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Aquinas defeated Gananda 17-7.  The Little Irish had eight players make their offensive score book with Sienna Hinchcliffe leading the charge with 5g-2a.  Brigid Flaherty led in draws with 8 and Maggie Seidenberg led in groundballs with 4.  Additional stats are HERE.
