There were seven games played tonight in Section Five.  Canandaigua remained undefeated at 4-0 with their 9-8 win over Thomas in the closest matchup of the night.  In other scores, West Genesee defeated RH 10-3, Pittsford defeated Brighton 7-4, Schroeder defeated Eastridge 14-1, Mercy defeated Clarence 14-6, Victor defeated Brockport 14-3 and Irondequoit defeated Churchville-Chili 18-6.  

Mercy defeated Clarence 14-6 after leading 10-1 at the half.  Freshman Sami Carey led the Monarchs with 3g-5a.  Kristyn Johnson recorded 1g-4a and a team leading 4 draws and 3 ground balls.  Additional stats are HERE.

Schroeder defeated Eastridge 14-1.  Freshman Annie Mulhall scored her first Varsity goal and finished with 4g for the Warriors.  Senior Madison Bell led in scoring with 2g-4a.  Payton Lill recorded 7 draw controls to lead the Warriors.  Additional stats are HERE.

Irondequoit scored 11 goals in the first half in their 18-6 win over Churchville-Chili.  The Eagles had 11 players make their offensive scorebook.  Bridget Inclema and Erika Sherwood each recorded 4g-2a to lead Irondequoit.  Sherwood also finished with 9 draws and 4 ground balls.  For C-C, Sophia Podszebka and Meredith Woo both finished with 2g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Victor defeated Brockport 14-3.  The Blue Devils had each goal scored by a different athlete: Juliana Bernie, Ella Fadele and Liz Schultheis.  Leah Daly led in caused turnovers and draw controls with 4 of each.  Additional stats are HERE.

Canandaigua held off a late Thomas advance to defeat the Titans 9-8.  The Braves were led by Megan Hoffman (3g-1a).  Mary Soures (4g-1a) and Syndey Dron (4g) scored all eight goals for the Titans.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pittsford defeated Brighton 7-4.  Katie Lederman and Kathryn Smolensky each scored 2g and Susan Lafountain recorded 3a on the game.  Piper Davis led in draw controls with 5.  Additional stats are HERE.
