The 2018 Post Season is ready to begin.  This article will be updated throughout the Tournament with the most up to date information.  It will contain links to all subsequent articles/information.

SECTIONAL SEEDING:

The final seeding information is now available.  The top seeds went to Pittsford (Class A), Brighton (Class B), HFL (Class C) and Waterloo (Class D).  The Brackets have been released and will be updated as games are played.

OUT BRACKET GAMES:

The first round of the Tournaments are out-bracket games in the Class B Tournament.  There are 11 teams in the tournament and the top 5 teams receive bye games.  The remaining 6 teams will play in 3 out-bracket matchups.  The first round of games will be played tomorrow (5/18/2018).

The three match-ups include: Irondequoit (8) hosting Brockport (9), Schroeder (7) hosting Churchville-Chili (10) and Thomas (6) hosting Gates Chili (11).

QUARTER FINAL GAMES:

All four Classes have at least one Quarter Final matchup.  The first of which are played on May 22nd.  Class B and Class D play their matchups on Tuesday and Class A and Class C play their matchups on Wednesday.

Tuesday's games include a full Brackets in both Class B and Class D.  Class B matchups include: Brighton (1) vs. Irondequoit (8), Mercy (4) vs. Victor (5), Spencerport (2) vs. Schroeder (7) and Canandaigua (3) vs. Thomas (6).  Class D matchups include: Waterloo (1) vs. Livonia (8), Pal-Mac (4) vs. Marcus Whitman (5), Penn Yan (2) vs. Gananda (7) and Aquinas (3) vs. Mynderse-Romulus (6).

Wednesday's games include partial Brackets with 2 games in Class A and 1 game in Class C.  Class A games include: Penfield (4) vs. Greece Storm (5) and Fairport (3) vs. Hilton (6).  The Class C game is Wayne (4) vs. Eastridge (5).

SEMI FINAL GAMES:

We are now into full Brackets in all four Classes. In Class A, the top 4 seeds advanced.   In Class B, the top 3 seeds advanced with Victor (5) defeating Mercy (4).  In Class C, the top 4 seeds advanced.  In Class D, the top 4 seeds advanced.

SECTION FIVE FINALS:

The Section Five Finals are set to played Tuesday May 29th at two sites.  Class A will feature 2nd seeded Rush-Henrietta hosting 4th seeded Penfield at 5:30 PM at East Rochester.  Class B will feature 1st seeded Brighton hosting 2nd seeded Spencerport at 7:30 PM at Pittsford Sutherland.  Class C will feature 1st seeded HFL hosting 2nd seeded Geneva at 7:30 PM at East Rochester.  Class D will feature 2nd seeded Penn Yan hosting 4th seeded Pal-Mac at 5:30 PM at Pittsford Sutherland.

Three high school programs have made the Finals in both their Girls and Boys programs and Girl's Chairman Jeff Onze has worked to separate the times enough for fans to see both games whenever possible:
- Penfield Girls will play at 5:30 PM on Tuesday at East Rochester and the Penfield Boys will play at 7:30 PM on Tuesday at St. John Fisher College.
- Geneva Girls will play at 7:30 PM on Tuesday at East Rochester and the Geneva Boys will play at 5:00 PM on Tuesday at St. John Fisher College.
- Penn Yan Girls will play at 5:30 PM on Tuesday at Pittsford Sutherland and the Penn Yan Boys will play at 5:00 PM on Wednesday at St. John Fisher College.
