Friday: Brockport and Penfield Win - Penn Yan Undefeated

DAY IN REVIEW: FRIDAY - Brockport beat Wayne 5-4 and Victor, Penfield, HF-L, and Waterloo-Marcus Whitman each won their games by two goals. Other winners were Penn Yan, Geneva, and Aquinas.

Penn Yan at Pal-MacBROCKPORT-5 at WAYNE-4 -  Senior goalie Molly Howlett reached her 200th save with her 8 saves (now 201 svs) as Brockport used their four-goal first half effort and held on to their lead. Scoring for Brockport (4-4) were Zoe Baase (3g), Raegan Hughes (2g-1a), Kendall Akers (1a), and Emma Cuzzupoli (1a). In the goal for Brockport was senior Molly Howlett with 8s/4ga = 67%.

Scoring for Wayne (2-6) were Marley Hewitt (3g), Anabelle Ruffell (1g), Lorelia Eaton (1a), and Samantha Branner (1a).    [ BOX SCORE

SPENCERPORT-6 at PENFIELD-8 -  A five goal push in the second half was enough for the Patriots to win their game at Spencerport. Leading the scoring for Spencerport (4-3) were Molly Guzik (3g-1a), Alyssa Nichols (1g-1a), and Brooke Endres (1g). Penn Yan vs Pal-MacLIVONIA-AVON-12 at GENEVA-18 - Geneva scored nine goals in each half for the win.
