Wednesday: CC Over Eastridge, CA Over Irondequoit

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were eleven games played today. Fairport, Wayne, Canandaigua, and Churchville-Chili were among the winners.

FAIRPORT-10 at BRIGHTON-8 - The Red Raiders, despite winning only four draws, were able to hold off a determined Brighton squad.  Fairport (9-1) was led by Ella Peers (3g/1a), Katie Mallaber (2g), and Jaelyne Twomey (8s).  There were no statistics reported from Brighton (4-7) at post time.  The Red Raiders travel to Churchville-Chili for a Friday matchup against the Saints.  The Bruins host Spencerport on Monday.   [ BOX SCORE

MW vs GenWAYNE-7 at GANANDA-MARION-2 The Eagles turned away the Blue Panthers behind two goals each from Marley Hewitt and Samantha Branner and eight saves from Mimi Ugalde.  There were no statistics reported from Gananda-Marion (1-8) at post time.  Wayne (4-6) visits Newark-Midlakes on Friday.  Also on Friday, the Blue Panthers travel to Pal-Mac to take on the Red Raiders.      [ BOX SCORE

PENFIELD-7 at VICTOR-11 -  Penfield (5-7) hung tough but eventually fell to the defending class B state champs.  There were no statistics reported from Victor (8-4) at post time. Peyton Rothfuss had four goals and two assists for the Patriots.  On Saturday, the Blue Devils travel to Baldwinsville (III) to play the defending class A state champs, while the Patriots return home to take on Hilton.    [ BOX SCORE

HONEOYE FALLS-LIMA-12 at THOMAS-16 -  The Titans picked up their fourth victory of the season against seven defeats.  HF-L dropped to 6-4.  Addison Schaeffer led the Titans with nine goals.  Kolbi Spencer and Gwen Newtown chipped in three goals each.  For the Cougars, Paige Kidd (6g/1a) and Camryn Trybuskiewicz (5a) led the scoring, while Marlee Green and Clare Ruff contributed three goals apiece in a losing effort.  The Titans meet crosstown rival Schroeder on Monday.  HF-L returns to the field Friday, hosting Penn Yan.     [ BOX SCORE

BROCKPORT-2 at SPENCERPORT-16 - Spencerport built a 12-0 halftime lead and cruised to its sixth victory of the season against three defeats.  The Rangers received three goals each from Molly Guzik and Alyssa Nichols.  Molly Howlett recorded 10 saves for the Blue Devils, who host Gates Chili Thursday.  The Rangers resume play Friday against Schroeder.    [ BOX SCORE

MW vs GenSCHROEDER-5 at PITTSFORD-16 -  The Panthers continued their historical mastery over their rivals from Webster, with their 25th straight victory over the Warriors since 2005.  There were no statistics reported from Pittsford (8-3) at post time.  Ava Dossier had three goals and six draw controls for the Warriors, while Lauren Vitello recorded 13 saves.  The Panthers have a non-league match against section III powerhouse CNS on Saturday.  Schroeder (3-7) travels to Spencerport Friday to take on the Rangers.    [ BOX SCORE

PENN YAN-18 at NEWARK-MIDLAKES-8 - The Mustangs improved to 10-1, despite four goals from the Reds' Stella Del Papa and three goals from Kathryn Verdine.  Bailey Cooper (5g/1a) and Gianna Voigt (4g/3a) led the scoring for Penn Yan.  The Mustangs travel to HF-L on Friday to play the Cougars.  Newark-Midlakes (4-6) hosts Wayne on Friday.    [ BOX SCORE

PAL-MAC-18 at MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-6 - The Red Raiders' attack featured Reagan Diehl (5g/1a), Teagan Hudak (3g/4a), Anna Priebe (3g/3a), and Jenna Santelli (4g).  Kelly Kohberger had three goals and Myah Herron had five draw controls for the Blue Devils.  Pal-Mac (8-2) hosts Gananda-Marion on Friday.  Mynderse-Romulus (6-4) has a Saturday afternoon contest against Waterloo-Marcus Whitman.     [ BOX SCORE

CANANDAIGUA-11 at IRONDEQUOIT-6 -  Hanna Davis (3g/1a) and Liv Schorr (3g/1a) helped steer Canandaigua to its eleventh win of the season against only two losses.  Kennedi Landrigan had two goals for the Eagles.  In a battle of heavyweights, Canandaigua hosts Rush-Henrietta on Friday.  Irondequoit (5-7) hosts Pal-Mac on Saturday.    [ BOX SCORE

MW vs GenCHURCHVILLE-CHILI-10 at EASTRIDGE-8 -  Churchville-Chili took a 6-3 halftime lead and held on for the win.  Amelia Breton (2g), Shavonne Callahan (2g/2a), Campbell Hewlett (2g), and Mackenzie Marsh (3g/1a) were all multiple goal scorers for the Saints.  Ada Krupa had four goals and an assist for the Lancers, while Melody Gaudio recorded an extraordinary 21 saves.  On Friday, Churchville-Chili (4-6) hosts Fairport and Eastridge (2-8) is at home against Hilton.    [ BOX SCORE

WATERLOO-MARCUS WHITMAN-16 at GENEVA-8 -  For the Tigers, it was their second victory of the season over their rivals from Geneva (4-6).  Leading the attack for Waterloo-Marcus Whitman (6-4) were Natalie Disanto, who had four goals, and Marissa Russell, Lainie Forde, and Maci Mueller, each of whom had three goals.  Maddie Askin recorded 16 saves for the Panthers. The Tigers play host to Mynderse-Romulus on Saturday.  The Panthers visit Aquinas on Friday.    [ BOX SCORE
