Monday: Irondequoit Takes Pittsford

DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - Irondequoit had a one-goal win against Pittsford and Mynderse-Romulus beat Chruchville-Chili. Other winners were Thomas, Brighton, Rush-Henrietta, Mercy, Livonia-Avon, Greece, and Geneva.

Pal-Mac vs MercyGANANDA-MARION-5 at GENEVA-18 - For the Panthers, it was their fifth victory of the season against seven defeats.  Kelly Bucklin (5g/4a) and Allie Good (5g/3a) led the scoring for Geneva, with Mikayla Myer and Kaitlyn Wright chipping in three goals apiece.  Colleen Ginsberg scored four times for the Blue Panthers from Gananda-Marion (1-11), who return to action Tuesday when they play Eastridge.  The Panthers travel to Mynderse-Romulus on Wednesday to face the Blue Devils.    [ BOX SCORE

EASTRIDGE-5 at GREECE STORM-16 - Mara Misiurewicz had eight goals and Alison Dioguardi secured seven draw controls for Greece (6-2).  Melody Gaudio recorded 15 saves for the Lancers, who fell to 2-10.  On Tuesday, Greece takes on Mynderse-Romulus, and Eastridge hosts Gananda-Marion.    [ BOX SCORE

Pal-Mac vs MercyLIVONIA-AVON-12 at BROCKPORT-8 - Megan Carr (3g), Lily Rowe (4g/1a), and Sidney Clickner (3g) were all multi-goal scorers for the Bulldogs, who improved to 5-7. Clickner reached her 50th goal in the game. For Brockport (5-7), Zoe Baase scored four goals and secured six draw controls, and Molly Howlett had nine saves.  Livonia-Avon hosts Pal-Mac on Tuesday.  The Blue Devils play host to Irondequoit on Wednesday.    [ BOX SCORE

AQUINAS-11 at MERCY-15 - The Monarchs improved to 6-5, behind strong goaltending from Natalie Casale (7s) and Katherine Longuil (3s) and six goals from Olivia Luchetti.  For the Little Irish, Sienna Hinchcliffe had five goals, Savannah Hinchcliffe had four goals, and Gianna Leonardi contributed five assists.  Mercy has a contest Wednesday against Penn Yan.  Also on Wednesday, Aquinas (10-3) takes on Bishop Kearney.    [ BOX SCORE]   - - More images in the photo gallery.

MYNDERSE-ROMULUS-10 at CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-7 - The Blue Devils used five goals from Kelly Kohberger, two goals each from Haley Mosch and Chelsea Korzeniewski, and eight saves from Maria Del Carmen to help secure their seventh win of the season against five losses.   Mikayla Mellenthine had five saves for Churchville-Chili (4-8).  On Tuesday, Mynderse-Romulus hosts Greece.  The Saints travel to Webster on Wednesday to take on Thomas.    [ BOX SCORE

Pal-Mac vs MercyIRONDEQUOIT-8 at PITTSFORD-7 - Alison Baumgartner and Kennedi Landrigan had two goals apiece and Emma Francis recorded six saves for Irondequoit (7-7).   There were no statistics reported from Pittsford (8-5) at post time.  The Eagles go on the road Wednesday to face Brockport.  Also on Wednesday, the Panthers take on class A rival Fairport.    [ BOX SCORE

HILTON-8 at RUSH-HENRIETTA-20 - The Royal Comets had goals from ten players, including Kate DeWald (2g/3a), Riley Brown (2g/1a), Danielle Garrett (4g/3a), Lena Cox (3g), and Alison Utter (2g/2a).  Scoring their first Varsity goals were Valerie Rock and Isabella Artessa while DeWald and Valerie Rock both reached here 50th goal and Avery Roberts reached her 50th assist. Charley Barlette and Sydney Heise each scored three goals for the Cadets. On Wednesday, Rush-Henrietta (12-1) visits Schroeder and Hilton (3-9) hosts Victor.    [ BOX SCORE

Pal-Mac vs MercySPENCERPORT-6 at BRIGHTON-15 - The Bruins broke open this tight class B matchup with 10 goals in the second half.  There were no statistics reported from Brighton (5-7) at post time.  For Spencerport (7-4), Molly Guzik and Alyssa Nichols each had two goals and two assists.  The Bruins visit Penfield on Wednesday.  The Rangers look to bounce back Wednesday when they face HF-L.     [ BOX SCORE

SCHROEDER-7 at THOMAS-15 - Addie Schaeffer led the Titans with 5 goals and an assist. Kolbi Spencer had 3 goals and 3 assists, while Gwen Newtown contributed 4 goals and an assist. Megan Springer was credited with 6 saves, while Ella Wambach was stellar defensively.

Leading the scoring for Schroeder (3-9) were Anna Rogers (3g-1a), Ava Dossier (2g-1a), and Makenna Baier (2g).  There was no report from Thomas (5-7) at post-time.    [ BOX SCORE
