DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - There were two game played today. Livonia-Avon beat Wayne and the Storm defeated Eastridge.

WAYNE-5 at LIVONIA-AVON-8 - Livonia-Avon defended their home field tonight with an 8-5 win over Wayne, improving their record to 6-8, while dropping the Eagles to 4-9.  Wayne’s five goals came from five different goal scorers, and even in closing effort, the Eagles were able to scoop up an amazing 25 GB’s and cause 12 turnovers.  No Bookj was submitted for Livonia-Avon at time of post.    [ BOX SCORE] 

GREECE STORM-18 at EASTRIDGE-8 - Greece Storm came out firing tonight in an impressive 18-8 victory over Eastridge at Eastridge. Alison Dioguardi (9g-1a) put together an incredible 10-point night, while Mara Misiurewicz (5g-1a) also had a prolific night for the Storm, who had a slimmer margin of 9-6 at half, but pulled away in the second half with sustained offensive production, while holding Eastridge to just 2 second half goals.  Greece launched 35 Shots on Goal in the game, with Eastridge Goalie, Melody Gaudio making 17 saves.  For Eastridge Ada Krupa (5g-1a), and Bella Denaro accounted for all of the scoring.  Greece Storm is now 7-3 on the season, while Eastridge is now 3-11.     [ BOX SCORE]
