Greece Storm Secures Victory
In a non-league lacrosse matchup on Monday evening at Marcus Whitman, Greece Storm emerged victorious with a 13-5 win. For Marcus Whitman, standout performer Helen Snyder led the scoring with two goals and an assist, while teammates Ava Deblaere, Aubriella Bowman, and Raegan Weissinger each contributed a goal. For Ava Deblaere, the goal was the first of her varsity career. There was no report from Greece Storm at post-time.
For Greece Storm, the win marked its fifth consecutive victory against Marcus Whitman since the teams' first matchup in 2018. With this result, both teams moved to 1-1 on the season and set their sights on upcoming games. Marcus Whitman will face Mexico (section III) on Friday, while Greece Storm heads to Geneva to face the Panthers on Tuesday.
