Rush-Henrietta Extends Winning Streak
Rush-Henrietta showcased its depth in a 17-5 victory over Hilton in a Monroe County matchup.
The win marked their tenth consecutive triumph over Hilton since 2010. The Royal Comets` offense was led by Riley Brown (4g/1a), Kate DeWald (4g/2a), and Danielle Garrett (2g/5a). Emma DeWald added two goals and two assists, while Danielle Raymond contributed three goals and Isabella Artessa chipped in two more. Goalie Taylor Potwin made seven saves, finishing with a 58% save rate.
For Hilton, senior midfielder Lilly Mattucci celebrated her milestone 50th career goal. Maia Streb led the Cadets` scoring with two goals. Jayleigh Esposito (1g), Ryleigh Lent (1g/1a), and Ava Tata (1a) rounded out the offense.
Both teams resume play on April 10, with the Royal Comets traveling to Brighton and the Cadets visiting Spencerport.
