Rush-Henrietta Secures Victory Over Corning
In a non-league game held at Corning (Section IV) on April 16, Rush-Henrietta came away with a 15-4 victory. The Royal Comets led 13-3 at the half and were never seriously challenged.
Leading scorers for Rush-Henrietta were Riley Brown (4g/2a), Danielle Garrett (3g/6a), and Kate DeWald (4g). Emma DeWald added two goals and an assist, while Briea Schlindwein and Taylee Bernarduci had one goal apiece. Kate DeWald and Emma Dewald helped the Royal Comets dominate the draw circle, combining for 14 draw controls.
The win was Rush-Henrietta's third victory of the season against two defeats. The Royal Comets travel to Webster on Monday to take on Schroeder.
