Mynderse-Romulus Holds Off Wayne for First Win

In a closely contested Finger Lakes game, Mynderse-Romulus earned its first win of the season, defeating Wayne by a score of 9-8. The match, held at Mynderse on Wednesday evening, was tight throughout. The Blue Devils trailed 6-5 after three quarters but outscored the Eagles 4-2 in the fourth quarter to take the game.

For Mynderse-Romulus, Amelia Reese (2g/3a), Myah Herron (3g), Chelsea Korzeniewski (3g/1a), and Macey Seneca (1g/1a) were all key offensive contributors. Bridget Lunduski played the full 48 minutes in goal for the Blue Devils, making four saves. There was no statistical report from Wayne at post-time.
