Victor to NYS Semifinals for 4th Consecutive Year
In what has become an annual rite of spring, Victor punched its ticket to SUNY Cortland for championship weekend, defeating Clarence (section VI) by a score of 21-9 on Saturday afternoon. It was the third consecutive year the two schools have faced off in a class B regional game, and the third straight time the Blue Devils have come away with the win.
Maia Pronti led the scoring for Victor with one goal and seven assists. Morgan Livingston recorded three goals and an assist. McKenna Anderson had three goals as well. Camryn Adrid, Julia Bruno, Mia DeRosa, Gianna Hedden, and Meaghan O’Brien each scored two goals. Carlina DiFondi and Lila Kubrich combined to win 16 draw controls. With the win, the Blue Devils move on to the NYS semifinal round at Cortland, where they will face Columbia (Section II) on Friday. [ Story and BOX SCORE]
