Big Game Night to Start the Week

Tonight was a big night of games with 11 games being played in Section Five.  The closest match-ups were the two overtime games with Fairport defeating Irondequoit 13-12 and HFL defeating Penfield 11-10.  Rounding out the games were Penn Yan over Whitman 15-10, Schroeder over Brockport 17-6, Mynderse over Gananda 11-4, Geneva over Midlakes 16-4, Pal-Mac over Newark 16-3, Arc/Oly over Livonia 11-7, Waterloo over Mercy 11-4 and Wayne over East Rochester 8-2.

Fairport won in overtime with a goal from Maddie Howe.  The full story is HERE.

Schroeder Madison Bell (3g-6a) and Payton Lill (4g-3a) led for the Warriors.  Brockport was led by Leah Daly (1g-3a) and Tori Lammes (2g-1a).  Additional stats are HERE

Gananda was led in scoring by Allison Stark with 3 of their 4 goals.  Additional stats are HERE.

East Rochester had two players each add one goal (Allison Burns and Emily Louth).  The Eagles were led in scoring by Hannah Zenelovic with 4g-1a.  Additional stats are HERE.

Midlakes were led by Jamie DeBoover with 2g.  Geneva scored seven goals in the first half.  Additional stats are HERE.

Marcus Whitman was led by Emily Thompson with six goals.  Additional stats are HERE.

Pal-Mac scored 14 goals in the first half.  14 players made the offensive scorebook with no one scoring more than 2 goals or 2 assists.  Newark had three girls with one goal each: Brooke Main, Alivia Moore and Katie Thoms.  Additional stats are HERE.

Waterloo scored six goals in the first half.  Keira O`Connor (3g-1a) and Logan Castiglione (2g-3a) led for the Indians.  Additional stats are HERE.
