Julia DiLeo (4g/1a) and Anabelle Ruffell (2g/1a) were also key to the Eagles' attack. Ninth-grader Avery Crandal scored her first varsity goal in the game.

For Newark-MIdlakes (1-1), Zoe Overslaugh and Kendall DeBrock led the scoring with three goals apiece; for Zoey Overslaugh, her second goal of the game was the 100th of her varsity career. Goaltender Maggie Lynch recorded 10 saves, including the 100th of her career.
