Panthers Repeat Win vs Aquinas
GENEVA-11 at AQUINAS-9 - The Panthers defeated the Little Irish for the second time this season.
Allison Marquart (2g/3a), Meghan Forbes (3g/4a), and Velia DeMaria (6g) provided all the scoring for Geneva (8-5). Meghan Forbes also led the team with four draw controls. Giovonna Houghton had a team-leading two caused turnovers. Maddie Askin stopped 12 shots for a 57% save percentage.
For Aquinas (5-8), Brynn Henry had an exceptional all-around game, recording a goal, four assists, five draw controls, three ground balls, and three caused turnovers. Madison DiBattisto had three goals. Alexandria Stacy and Elizabeth Valentino each scored two goals. Angelina Masci made seven saves, including the 200th of her varsity career.
