Section Five finished with a clean sweep against Section Six in both the girl's tournament and the boy's tournament.  Pittsford defeated Lancaster 19-3 in the first game.  In the Class B game, Victor defeated Hamburg 23-9.  In the final game of the night HFL defeated Lake Shore 12-7 to finish out the sweep.  On the boy's side, Victor, Thomas and Penn Yan all won (see more at SportsFive.net).

Pittsford defeated Lancaster 19-3.  This was the fourth time this season that the Legends played into Section Five.  The Legends finished their season 14-4 with all four of their losses coming to Section Five teams.  Caroline Cullinan led in scoring with 3g-2a.  Jillie Quevedo (3g-1a) and Megan Plain (3g-1a) also added to the win.  Additional stats are  HERE.  The Panthers will play West Islip (Section XI) in the Semi Finals.

Victor defeated Hamburg 23-9.  This was the second time this season that the Bulldogs played into Section Five.  The Bulldogs finished their season 12-8.  This was their largest loss of the season with their other Section Five game (RH) being their second largest loss.  GLaxFive had a reporter at the game and their report is HERE.  The Blue Devils will play Garden City (Section VIII) in the Semi Finals.

In the closest game of the night, HFL defeated Lake Shore 12-7.  The Eagles never played into Section Five this season.  Coming into tonight's game they were undefeated at 18-0.  There were only three games all season that they did not win by over 10 goals.  GLaxFive had a reporter at the game and their report is HERE.  The Cougars will play Mont Sinai (Section XI) in the Semi Finals.
